Does This Mp3 Plug To A Speaker Dock?

okay, so i have a sansa c250 (2gb). It’s one of those mini rectangular ones, not the ones that look like an i-pod. But it’s charge plug looks the same as on a charge plug of an i-pod, so i was wondering whether it was possible that i could hook up my mp3 to a i-pod speaker dock, so i could play my music outloud?
